PGM 2010 — Project Management Techniques
Provides students with practical, hands-on experience in applying project management skills through a business simulation. Students will gain experience using effective tools for planning, executing, and delivering projects, while preparing to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam. The course covers essential project management concepts, including the role of the project manager, process groups, performance domains, and the project life cycle. Students will explore a range of methodologies-predictive, agile/adaptive, and hybrid-while learning how to manage project performance, address uncertainty, and apply business analysis techniques. Ethical standards and professional conduct expected of project managers are also emphasized throughout the course.
