Explores entrepreneurship and small business management, focusing on identifying opportunities, developing business ideas, and creating plans to launch and sustain ventures. Focusing on "main street" businesses, topics include marketing, financing, accounting, operations, risk management, and legal and HR considerations. Emphasis is on practical skills for evaluating feasibility, strategic planning, and day-to-day management. Students will gain the knowledge and tools to navigate the challenges of small business management and apply entrepreneurial thinking in diverse business contexts.
