The Division of Arts & Sciences offers students the opportunity to obtain an Associate of Arts (AA) degree or an Associate of Science (AS) degree or to fulfill a common core of General Education distribution requirements while pursuing an Applied Associate degree.
For the AA/AS degrees, students complete a broad distribution of approved courses following state guidelines. Courses must be selected from the inventory of approved AA/AS courses listed in this section of the catalog. Focused concentration areas are available in the following disciplines: Business; Education; English Writing/Literature; Environmental, Health & Safety; History; Pre-Health; Psychology; and Sociology.
